Saint Veronica was a pious woman who, during Jesus' Stations of the Cross, offered a veil to wipe Christ's bloody face. Her act of compassion resulted in a miracle, leaving the image of Jesus' face imprinted on the veil, which has since become a precious relic in the Catholic faith.
